Don Bosco students and teacher blood donation

The Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital (SKMH) of Kampot invited students and teachers of Don Bosco Hatrans to their Blood Donation Day on January 20, 2016, when the Blood Bank of Cambodia visited the place to collect as much blood donations as possible. It is an urgent need for the Cambodian Health sector. 30 students and teachers of Don Bosco joint the campaign as a sign that they care for their own country and those who would need a blood transfusion.

Thank you and your team for the support at our Blood Donation Day. We collected 89 bags for the National Blood Bank and 30 bags for the Kampot Referral Hospital. It was a very successful collection, said John Vincent Daniel Moho, SKMH’s Nursing Director

The Hospital is a charity center built with the intention to improve health situation of Cambodians, especially children and expectant mothers, regardless of their ability to pay. It was a good opportunity for two charitable organizations like SKMH and Don Bosco to joint in a good campaign in favor of the poor. The Don Bosco students come from very poor and vulnerable communities. If you are in the area of Kampot and Kep and want to donate blood, the SKMH is the best option.
