Sewing Program 2011

Kep City. In a simple ceremony, 9 students of the sewing program at the Don Bosco Vocational  Center (DBVC), got a certificate of their studies. The students, all young ladies from Kep and Kompot provinces, are going to create their own sewing shops in their villages to support their domestic economy.
The sewing program will continue during the academic year 2011-2012, but it will be redesign in October 2012 as House Keeping section, including sewing, for young people willing to learn the skill. Other sections like Front Office, Secretarial, Automotive and Fine Arts, will fill the DBVC that has been almost alone for years, just with the quiet girls of sewing. In October 2011, the Social Communication section will start with 20 youth (15 men and 5 girls).
Help us to keep the school running for the benefit of young people from Kep, Kompot and Takeo.
